Building Connections That Matter

The event industry runs on relationships. But meeting the right people at the right time isn't about luck—it's about smart networking. We've built a system that helps professionals in the events world connect with purpose, not just by chance.

Your Journey Starts Here

From setting up your profile to making meaningful connections, here's how we help you navigate the event industry network. It's straightforward, practical, and designed around how professionals actually work.

1

Create Your Profile

Tell us about your experience, what you're working on, and what kind of connections would help your career. Takes about ten minutes, but it sets everything else in motion.

2

Explore the Network

Browse professionals by specialization, location, or current projects. We've organized things so you can find venue managers, suppliers, planners, or technical specialists without endless scrolling.

3

Connect Thoughtfully

Send connection requests with context. Our system encourages meaningful introductions rather than mass outreach. Quality conversations tend to open more doors than quantity ever will.

How Connections Actually Happen

Discovery Phase

You start by exploring profiles that match your needs. Looking for someone who's worked on outdoor festivals? Or maybe a lighting specialist who knows unconventional venues? Our filters help you narrow things down without getting overwhelmed.

Initial Contact

When you find someone worth reaching out to, you'll send a connection request with a short message explaining why you'd like to connect. Most people respond within a couple of days—we've found that context makes all the difference.

Building Relationships

Once connected, you can message directly, share project updates, or even collaborate on opportunities. Some of our members have found business partners this way. Others just appreciate having knowledgeable people to ask questions when they're stuck on something.

Growing Your Network

As you interact with the community, you'll naturally expand your circle. People recommend others, you'll join conversations, and your profile becomes more visible to those looking for your particular skills.

Real People, Real Opportunities

I joined Qoxen Tylux in early 2024 when I was between contracts and feeling a bit disconnected from the broader industry. Within two months, I'd connected with three venue managers I wouldn't have met otherwise, and one of those conversations led to a six-month project that started last autumn.

What surprised me most wasn't the job leads—it was the casual advice and knowledge sharing. When I was planning a corporate event with unusual technical requirements, I posted a question and got responses from people who'd solved similar challenges. That kind of practical help is hard to find elsewhere.

The platform doesn't promise miracles. But if you're willing to engage genuinely and contribute to the community, you'll find it pays back. I'm planning to attend some of the networking events they're organizing for late 2025 as well.
